Cranberry Bread for ABM 2

Regular loaf

3/4 cup cranberry juice
2 cups white bread flour
3 teaspoons dry milk
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons butter
1/4 cup cranberries -- dried
2 tablespoons orange marmalade
1 teaspoon fast rise yeast or
2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Large loaf

1-1/4 cups cranberry juice
3 cups white bread flour
6 teaspoons dry milk
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup cranberries -- dried
3 tablespoons orange marmalade
2 teaspoons fast rise yeast  or
3 teaspoons active dry yeast

Dried cranberries are sometimes called "ruby raisins.

Place dried cranberries away from water if baking on delayed time
cycle. This recipe can be baked with regular or delayed time baking
cycles.


Cranberry Orange Bread for ABM 2


2/3 cup orange juice concentrate
1 cup water 
2 Tbs honey
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups bread flour  
2 tsp yeast 
1/2 cup finely chopped cranberries

Add ingredients to the bread machine pan in the order recommended
by the manufacturer. Add cranberries at the tone indicating the
end of the raisin/mix cycle.

Cranberry-Orange Bread for ABM

1 pkg yeast
2 1/2 c bread flour
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp nonfat milk powder
4 tsp applesauce
1 c fresh cranberries, chopped
1 c orange juice

Add all the ingredients in order.  Follow mfg instructions.


Whole Wheat Cranberry Bread for ABM

4 teaspoons dry yeast
1-3/4 cups whole wheat flour
1-3/4 cups white flour
1-1/2 tablespoons gluten
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons butter
1-1/2 teaspoons dry lemon peel
1-1/2 teaspoons dry orange peel
1 cup whole cranberries, chopped coarse
1/2 tablespoon pure maple syrup
4 tablespoons buttermilk powder
1-1/4 cups water 

Chop cranberries.  Drizzle with Maple syrup and stir together.
Place ingredients in bread machine according to manufacturers
instructions.  Adjust water or flour as needed. Bake on White Bread
Cycle.

Almond Oatmeal Bread for ABM


2/3 cup nonfat dried milk
1-1/4 tablespoon applesauce
1 tablespoon almond paste
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup oats
1-1/3 cup bread flour
1 teaspoon yeast

Follow manufactures directions. 

American Garlic and Parsley Bread for ABM



1-1/2 ts active dry yeast
3 c bread flour
3 tb wheat germ
3 tb wheat bran
1-3/4 ts salt
1-1/2 tb sugar
1-1/2 tb vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tb parsley, fresh chopped1 
1/4 c water

Add all ingredients in the order suggested by your bread machine manual and 
process on the basic bread cycle according to the manufacturer's directions. Let 
the loaf cool before slicing.

Makes 1-1/2 pound loaf.


Apple Butter Bread for ABM

1/2 tablespoon yeast
1 cup flour, whole wheat
2 cup flour, bread
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup apple butter
2 tablespoon oil
1 cup water


Put ingredients in bread machine according to manufacturer's
instructions. 


Bailey's Irish Cream Bread for ABM
  
1-1/4 cups water 
1 package yeast
1 cup oats
3 cups bread flour
1 tsp salt
1/3 cup honey
2 Tbsp Bailey's Irish cream  
 
Put ingredients in pan in order listed. Select "white  bread"
setting on machine and press Start.


Bananas & Cream Bread for ABM



2 teaspoons active dry yeast
3 cups bread flour
3 tablespoons wheat germ
3 tablespoons powdered milk
1-1/2 tablespoons sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1-1/2 tablespoons oil
1 cup mashed bananas
2 tablespoons mashed bananas
3/4 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon water
3/4 cup chopped nuts or raisins

Add all ingredient except the raisins or nuts and bake on raisin
bread cycle. At the beeper add the raisins or nuts. 


Beer Rye Bread for ABM



1 pkg dry yeast
2-1/4 c whole wheat flour
1-1/4 c stale beer
1-1/2 ts salt
1-1/2 tb vegetable oil
1-1/2 tb oat flour
1-1/2 c rye flour

Place all ingredient into the ABM. Process on the white
bread cycle. 


Blueberry-Lemon Bread for ABM


1-pound loaf:

1/2 cup milk
1 large egg
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups bread flour
1/3 cup dried blueberries
2 teaspoons sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons finely shredded lemon peel
1-1/2 teaspoons yeast

1-1/2-pound loaf:

3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk
1 large egg
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups bread flour
1/2 cup dried blueberries
1 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons finely shredded lemon peel
2 teaspoons yeast

Use the 1-pound recipe if your machine pan holds 10 cups of water
or less.  Add ingredients to bread machine pan in the order suggested
by manufacturer, adding dried blueberries with flour.  Recommended
cycle: Basic/white bread cycle; light color setting, if available.
If dough is too dry or stiff or too soft or slack, adjust dough
consistency. Bread machine dough is slightly stickier than hand-kneaded
dough.

After mixing for a few minutes, the ingredients should turn into
a dough that forms a soft, smooth ball around the blade. If your
machine seems to be straining or the dough appears too dry or stiff,
add more liquid in 1-teaspoon increments to achieve the proper
consistency. If the dough seems too soft or slack, add additional
bread flour in 1-teaspoon increments until the proper consistency
is reached. Do not add more than 3 to 4 tablespoons of liquid or
flour. The machine cannot compensate for wide variations from the
norm and may not bake the larger amount of dough thoroughly. 


Brownie Bread for ABM
   
1 cup water
2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2-1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
3 cups bread flour
3/4 cup sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons oil
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1/2 cup walnut pieces

Bring the water to a boil.  Add the cocoa and stir until completely
dissolved.  Let cool to room temperature.  Add the cocoa and all
remaining ingredients except the nuts in the order suggested by
your manual.  Select raisin bread setting. Start.  Add the nuts at
the beeper. 


Buttermilk Bread for ABM

13 oz buttermilk
2 Tb butter, softened
2 Tb honey
2-1/2 c bread flour
1 Tb salt
1/3 ts baking soda
1 Tb bread machine yeast

Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in
the order recommended by the manufacturer.

Select Basic/White cycle.  Use Medium or Light crust color.  DO
NOT USE DELAY CYCLES.  Remove baked bread from pan and cool on wire
rack. 


Caesar's Sourdough Bread for ABM



2-1/2 teaspoons yeast
2 cups bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1-1/2 garlic cloves, crushed
1-1/2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 tablespoon salt
1/4 cup parmesan, grated
3 tablespoons olive oil
4 anchovies, chopped
1/2 teaspoon lemon peel, grated
1-1/2 cups sourdough starter
1/2 cup water, warm

Select "white bread" and push Start.

In hot and humid weather, use 1/8 cups less water. 


Carrot & Thyme Bread for ABM

1 1/2 Lb Loaf: -- (1 lb loaf)

1-pound loaf:

1-1/2 tsp active dry yeast
1-1/2 c bread flour 
2/3 c rye flour
1/3 c yellow cornmeal
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp dried thyme 
1-1/3 c carrots freshly grated, or finely chopped
1/2 c water or more if needed
2 T vegetable oil



1-1/2-pound loaf:

2-1/2 tsp active dry yeast
2-1/4 c bread flour
1 c rye flour
1/2 c yellow cornmeal
1-1/2 Tbsp sugar
1-1/2 tsp salt
1-1/2 Tbsp dried thyme
2 c carrots freshly grated, or finely chopped
1 c water more if needed
3 T vegetable oil

Add all ingredients in the order suggested by your bread machine
manual and process on the basic bread cycle according to the
manufacturer's directions.   Let the loaf cool before slicing. 


Cheddar and Bacon Bread for ABM



2-1/2 ts yeast
3 c bread flour
1/2 ts salt 
1 tb sugar
1-1/3 tb butter
1 c milk
2/3 c shredded cheddar cheese
2/3 c cooked, crumbled bacon 

Follow the directions in your ABM booklet. 


Cherry Almond Bread for ABM

Bake according to manufacturer's instructions, adding the cherries
and almonds during the raisin-bread cycle, or five minutes before
the final kneading is finished. 


Chocolate Cherry Bread for ABM



1-1/4 cup water
2 cups flour
1 cup wheat bread flour
2 tbls dry milk
1/4 cup sugar
1-1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup cherries
1 tbl Grand Mariner
1/2 tsp orange peel
3 tsp active dry yeast

Makes a very moist loaf.  Follow manufacturer's instructions.


Eggnog Oat Bran Bread for ABM 



1 pkg yeast
1-1/4 c whole wheat flour
1-1/4 c better for Bread flour
1/2 c rolled oats 
1/2 c oat bran
1 tb gluten
1 t salt
1 t cinnamon
1 egg 
1-1/4 c warm eggnog

Set machine's browning control to light. Put all the ingredients
into pan in the order listed, select "Oat/French" and push "start." 


English Barley Bread for ABM



2-pound loaf:

3/4 c water
2/3 c milk
1 large egg
1/4 c molasses or honey
4 c bread flour
2/3 c barley flour
2 t salt
2 T butter
2-1/2 t yeast


1-pound loaf:

1/4 c water
1/3 c milk
1 large egg
2 T molasses or honey
2 c bread flour
1/3 c barley flour
1 t salt
1 T butter
1/2 T yeast

English Muffin Bread for ABM



2 tsp active dry yeast
3 c bread flour
3 Tbsp nonfat dry milk powder
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1-1/4 c warm water
